Pickup and owner delivery
Owner Fulfillment Policy
Local pickup is standard. Any delivery is considered only for a registered owner after the processor and applicable requirements are confirmed.
Registered owners only
Pickup or approved delivery is only for the registered person who acquired ownership of the live animal before slaughter. It is not a retail shipment or delivery of meat sold after slaughter.
Delivery review
Submitting a ZIP code requests a review and does not guarantee delivery. We consider the processor’s rules, destination, order size, packaging, weather, carrier service and applicable requirements before confirming any delivery arrangement.
Custom-exempt identification
The owner’s packages remain marked “Not for Sale.” They are exclusively for the registered owner, the owner’s household, nonpaying guests and employees, and may not be resold or donated.
Frozen handling
If delivery is approved, the owner’s sealed packages must be fully frozen and placed in suitable insulated packaging. Someone should be available to receive the delivery and move the packages to a freezer promptly.
Availability and cost
Local pickup is standard. Delivery may be unavailable for introductory animal-share orders. Any approved delivery cost and timing are confirmed before the live-animal ownership purchase is completed.
